Summary: Add interfaces to a class without changing the class, and allow clients to access the interfaces they need.

• This pattern is similar to Decorator [Gamma+95] and Visitor [Gamma+95] in that it addresses the problem of extending class functionality.
• Adapter [Gamma+95] lets you adapt an interface to work like another. This pattern supports adding interfaces, sometimes dynamically.
